About the role

We are looking for a New Zealand resident who is a self-directed intermediate to senior developer (3-6yrs+ experience) looking for a new contract of at least three months with flexibility in working hours.

This position is a partial work from home and in the office contract, with hourly rates negotiable based on experience.

Development tasks:

+ Design, architect, develop and test software solutions consistent with the development life-cycle process (SDLC), interacting (when necessary) with software management and other staff members in drawing up the technical specification or plans for architecture, code, databases, integration and testing.

+ Develop solutions within the project plan guidelines, following the business requirements and technical specifications, keeping strongly within delivery timelines.

+ Help design and architect software solutions on other projects from time to time.

+ Testing, debugging, diagnosing and correcting errors and faults in an applications programming language within established testing protocols, guidelines and quality standards to ensure programs and applications perform to specification.

+ Writing, updating and maintaining technical and end user documentation.

+ Mentorship, guidance and training of other staff members (when necessary).

 
Ideal requirements:

+ Your own hardware (preferably windows laptop)

+ Angular experience (3+ years)

+ Experience creating mobile websites, apps or PWAs

+ Experience with Material Design and Responsive Design

+ Experience working in an Agile team

+ Experience using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket)
