ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Agile Delivery Lead, you will be directly accountable for the introduction and improvement of agile delivery processes in specific client projects, ensuring project deliverables are met and within budget to the client’s satisfaction. You will partner with project/product managers and delivery teams to maximise their impact and improve their results

DUTIES

•Coordinate project delivery, conducting stand ups, retrospectives, backlog curation, and planning and ensuring team members are productive and usefully engaged.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate concisely and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Help the project manager plan and prioritise features with key technology and business stakeholders, based on business value and organisational priorities.
•A proven ability to lead teams, deliver results, ensuring objectives, goals and commitments are met, while maintaining a strong focus on user requirements.Lead the introduction of and adherence to agile behaviours, appropriate frameworks and continuous improvement, including appropriate communication within the client organisation
•Plan and execute the introduction of an appropriate process to delivery teams.
•Champion the transparency of successes and failures to the wider organisation.
•Play an active role in identifying and mitigating impediments to the completion of Release/Sprint Goals.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

•In-depth knowledge of and extensive experience with SCRUM.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate concisely and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•A proven ability to lead teams, deliver results, ensuring objectives, goals and commitments are met, while maintaining a strong focus on user requirements.
•A firm understanding of DevOps, preferably with experience in a DevOps environment
•Good planning and organisation skills, with an ability to identify, assess and mitigate risk and manage competing demands in large and complex commercial environments.
•A practical, flexible and results-orientated approach to problem solving and an ability to think critically, letting the best ideas win.
•Ideally some experience in a remote-first environment, managing and participating in distributed teams and with an understanding of effective asynchronous workflows.
•Experience working in the defence industry and/or environments requiring security clearance is highly desirable.
