Based in the Northshore, the company is one of New Zealand's fastest growing kiwi tech companies global reach.
This is a brand new role that came about due to the company's rapid expansion and need to support their growing client base. As a JavaScript Developer you would be optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers and be involved within the full life cycle of the company's projects.
  • Take part in the development, design, system analysis, documentation, implementation and testing of all software projects
  • Perform analysis on software project's performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting
  • Assist QA with automation testing as needed
  • People management and development of the team to ensure projects adhere to the quality and set requirements
  • Assist with recruitment of new staff as required
  • Developing the latest user-facing features using React.JS or Node.JS
  • Designing a modern highly responsive web-based user interface
  • Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  • Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  • Strong and proven development experience in React or NodeJS
  • Proven people management experience
  • Experience working in Agile Environments
  • Strong analysis and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and have a great attention to detail
