ABOUT THE ROLE
We are in urgent need of a Test Engineer for one of our biggest Clients based in Central Auckland. The candidate must have  strong experience in creating, maintaining and executing automated test scripts and be fully happy to be working in a Digital and constantly evolving technology, project environment.
 
Within this role, you will work as part of a wider team to include QA, Web Development, Digital SME and DevOps while reporting into a fantastic Test Manager.

 
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Testing - a minimum of 6yrs commercial experience which essentially must include Automated Testing This must essentially include Web API and integration. What is equally important is that you have been involved in fast paced, end to end testing environments.
  • Functions - experienced in implementing test automation such as scripting, coding automated/unit tests, automation test tools. We definitely require a Test Engineer who has actually built UI Test Frameworks rather than simply testing on what is already in place.
  • Tools -  Selenium, TDD, BDD; Preferred knowledge of AWS and Docker.
  • Web Services (essential) - SOAP / Rest API
  • Applications - Python & Django
This is a very urgent requirement and so although you may have a current 1 month notice requirement, we are really keen to commence the interview process ASAP.
