ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently looking for a senior level Infrastructure Linux Engineer for our Hamilton based client. The role is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the design, installation, and connectivity of computer systems and network infrastructure to ensure the stable operation of the organization’s IT assets. This includes developing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all new and existing hardware, software, and communication links.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
 

• You need to have related IT degree or relevant qualifications.
• You need to have 5 years plus experience and knowledge of hardware, servers, and Linux.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Azure, VMWare or AWS will be beneficial for this role.
• Deep understanding of current and emerging infrastructure and security technologies and practices.
• You need to have great communication skills both oral and written.
