About the Role
The Test Analyst is a crucial member of the Remediation Team, responsible for various tasks within the Holidays Act Programme. Their duties include planning, executing tests, and providing administrative support. They collaborate with the Test Lead, Data Analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver testing services and consultancy using best practices. The Analyst also reviews requirements, produces test documents and reports, and ensures work is completed within deadlines. Additionally, they specify environment and tool requirements, define test conditions, and identify and report test and quality issues and risks, including stream defect management.
Skills & Experience Required
- Over 5 years of practical experience in various testing and project quality roles
- Proficient in analyzing diverse application architectures with strong technical skills
- Familiarity with payroll and HR systems; understanding of Holidays Act and Remediation processes is desirable
- Exceptional analytical abilities to identify non-functional risks and design comprehensive test strategies
- Skilled in analyzing business requirements from different user groups, utilizing various methodologies, and documenting complex issues and their resolutions.
