Purpose of the Position
The Integration / Technical Business Analyst role will be responsible for supporting the Technology Operations team in delivering initiatives as part of the business and Technology Programs. This will include but is not limited to, gathering, analysing, disseminating, documenting and communicating business and technical requirements where it relates to integrating systems and processes. The Integrations Analyst will identify and/ or establish pre, and post-implementation processes, and create training material to effectively deliver change into the business.

Key Accountabilities

  • Plan and lead the gathering and documentation of business requirements and undertaking
  • options and scenario analysis of the impact of design decisions
  • Develop appropriate functional specifications based on a before, during and after implementations
  • Develop comprehensive test processes and procedures
  • Create appropriate artifacts e.g. Change request, business requirements document, solution
  • options and recommendations, high level work estimates, business process mapping and other required artifacts Use Change Management techniques to ensure adoption of changes
  • Elicit and analyse high level and detailed functional and non-functional requirements and specifications
  • Establish and create training and handover material to enable effective adoption of change to current processes into the finance and operations areas
  • Uncover core problems/ provide gap analysis and consider technical opportunities for users
  • Identify and resolve any conflicting requirements or issues between stakeholders
  • Generate requirements and acceptance criteria at a level that can be directly used for estimating, development and test plans. assist in problem solving issues within the project and/or programme, and lead the resolution of issues in the business analysis work
  • Establish and maintain effective inter-personal relationships with internal and external
  • stakeholders, collaborate with cross functional technical teams with aim to deliver quality outcome
  • Establish requirements of implementation and support processes to facilitate integration of changes to business
  • Provide sound advice to both Technology and Channels team and to business units, from a
  • business and/or technical perspective with a focus on integration between systems

Key Experiences & Capabilities

  • Business Analysis – 5+ years+ experience with a solid technical focus working with API’s and other Integration based work.
  • Methodologies / Tools  – Confluence, Jira, Agile and ideally ITIL
  • Functions – Translating business needs into technical to=do forms / Requirements Gathering /  Integration related projects /  a thorough understanding of the software development cycle with active facilitation / roles held in end to end software delivery / Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Technical – a background aligned to development and/or testing / MS Office and Visio at an advanced level
  • Ideal – coding knowledge aligned to .Net
