ABOUT THE ROLE

The Business Analyst (BA) role is responsible for working closely with the business stakeholders to understand business challenges and deliver technology solutions. This involves performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and developing optimisation strategies.
 
The new ERP system SAP S/4HANA and its various related systems/integrations will form a large part of the client’s technology roadmap. The BA is a key member of the team deploying, supporting, and enhancing this landscape so your knowledge of SAP is crucial to the success of the role. Aligned with this strategy is your commitment to continuous improvement of processes and technology.
 
As the bridge between the business and technical teams, you will understand and assess the changing needs of the business and analyse the impacts of this change. You will have excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills. You will work on multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, often as a lead, and manage digital transformations across the business.

DUTIES

•Defining business problems via in-depth investigation and gathering of technical and non-technical information.
•Outlining detailed requirements for a solution and ensuring the delivered solution meets those business requirements
•Testing and documenting throughout the process.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

•Minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in business analysis or a related field
•Experience and knowledgeable in SAP  including S/4HANA
•A proven track record of successfully managing and delivering on projects
•Forestry, pulp, lumber or similar manufacturing industry experience would be advantageous
•An analytical thinker who is focused on delivering results to the business
•Knowledge of data warehousing and data integration
