Our client is a Global Managed Service Provider based in the heart of the city.  They deliver Helpdesk, NOC, SOC and IT Project services to their clients who want the best for their business.  No one day is the same but they ensure their team has the necessary support and resources to perform well and ensure career advancement for every employee.

What’s this role about? 
As a First Line Support person, you will be employed as an IT Support and will be assisting in proactively managing and troubleshooting issues for the end customers of MSP partners, by using your analytical skills to efficiently problem solve within their fast paced environment.
Growth is important, your role will include being mentored by senior technicians to develop the skills necessary to progress from a 1st line engineer to 2nd line. 


  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent 1st line technical skills
  • Windows 10, Office 365, Microsoft Exchangemanagement experience
  • Experience and understanding of Active Directorydomains 
  • Troubleshooting a range of technical issues experienced by our clients, including the following technologies: 
    • Printers and Scanners 
    • Various customer applications 
    • Basic administration of Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012, 2016, 2019 
    • Network troubleshooting
    • log and respond to support tickets 

Stand out from the pack with these things: 

  • Knowledge of Autotask RMM or PSA 
  • Azure cloud computing exposure/experience highly beneficial
  • Networking skills highly beneficial
  • Sophos Cybersecurity Certification highly beneficial
  • Experience working for a managed service provider 
  • Passion for technology and self-development
