ABOUT THE COMPANY

We are currently working with a leading Kiwi grown organisation here in Auckland as they are searching for a driven Principal Front End Developer with leadership skills to come on-board for a permanent position.
The company is a Market leader in what they do and provide a very innovative solutions to international Clients.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an excellent opportunity to jump into a managerial hands-on JS Front End Developer role in a permanent capacity, due to their continued growth and client expansion.

DUTIES

  • Leading a great bunch of JavaScript Developers guiding and assisting them with the design as well as the development of the site functionalities
  • Programming and developing high-quality Front-End functionalities using JS technologies such as VueJS, ReactJS as well as Typescript
  • Writing quality code and assisting with the graphics packages to meet the business requirements.
  • Help all Business users on how to use the system.
  • Take part with the release of the production software updates

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
You are a people’s person with an ambition to lead and mentor others with example.

You have extensively worked as a FE JavaScript Senior Developer recently.
Ideally in previous roles you already had to lead a small team of JavaScript Developers.

  • Extensive commercial experience working as a Senior JS FE Developer delivering code from scratch
  • First experience or a strong interest in mentoring and training junior developers with the execution of codebase and ensuring they are progressing within their career goals
  • Having used JavaScript, HTML5/CSS, and ReactJS hands on
  • Great knowledge in building solid pipelines for all JavaScript implementations
  • Driven individual looking to grow further into a true Lead Developer with managerial tasks
  • Excellent communication skills, including excellent verbal and written skills
