Our client is a financial & insurance entity, operating in an Agile environment. They are looking for a Technical Digital BA, to deliver high-quality business analysis, and work in an energetic and fast pace environment within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a digital subject matter expert to champion a great customer experience.
  • Undertake solution lead role as required including solution design, identification of business benefit and value, co-ordination and specification activities ensuring that requirement deliverables meet business needs.
  • Working in an Agile continuous delivery environment and will be responsible for analysing and documenting requirements, facilitate workshops and design solution sessions.
  • Gather, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems.
  • Act as a key link between the product owner and delivery teams to gain in-depth understanding of business goals and the context in which the business operates.
  • Acting as a point of reference within the team, lead collaboration and provide training in their area of expertise and knowledge in related functions.
  • Build strong relationships through engagement with business, colleagues and other key stakeholders across all stages of the customer journey life cycle.
  • Facilitate and positively influence solution development and ongoing support.
  • Guide the business through UAT to ensure comprehensive testing is carried out and culminates in business satisfaction with and acceptance of the delivered solution.
  • Work with cross functional teams to asses technology feasibility to execute marketing tests and personalised customer experiences.
  • Ensuring vision is translated into a meaningful set of specifications and requirements ready for delivery which is crucial to creating quality solutions that support the customer strategy.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in a similar role:
  • As a Business Analyst with demonstrated skills, capability and proven competence in requirements elicitation, requirements management and process analysis across a range of projects.
  • Experience in operating, ideally including some exposure to Insurance services, and Agile principles, working in Agile environments, and understanding the needs of people in these environments.
  • i.e. Agile/SCRUM/DevOps (user stories, acceptance criteria, Events/ceremonies and BA activities).
  • Proven ability to cope with ambiguity, scale, complexity, to envision the outcome, managing very senior stakeholders.
  • As an expert in problem solving utilise the most effective business analysis techniques and tools to help the business to reach a desired set of goals and objectives, e.g. analysis of Objectives, Outputs, Outcomes and related benefits, current and future state gap analysis and impact mapping.
  • Work in partnership with developers and system users and act as an intermediary to assist in assuring that solutions are successfully delivered.
  • Proficient knowledge in API design, build and deployment from a business analysis perspective.
  • Proficient knowledge of UX, CX and Human Centred Design practices (including testing and research)
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience in solution architecture and design for digital experience management platforms and/or cloud technologies
  • Strong relationship building skills with people at all levels, isn’t afraid to ask the challenging questions, has a ‘can do’ attitude and who enjoys delivering projects within a strong agile environment.
  • The ability to operate with a customer first mentality.
  • Have the mind set to mentor, coach, contribute to the development of other BA team members.
