We’ve got all the necessary COVID-19 protocols in place for when you visit one of our offices, to keep you and us safe.  Please take care of yourself, and those around you. You can read more about our current COVID-19 response below.

Our Recruitment Processes

Our teams across the country are back in our branches, and Absolute IT should be your first port of call for any questions regarding the recruitment process. Our efforts to minimise the spread of the COVID-19 virus remains a key focus across our recruitment processes and practices. With the scrapping of the COVID-19 Protection Framework (Traffic Light System) announcement on 12 September 2022 we continue to support the basic protocols to prevent spread of the virus, including:

  • Maintaining personal hygiene measures such as regular hand washing / sanitising.
  • Regular cleaning of shared surfaces such as handrails, tables, benchtops, etc.
  • Mask wearing is only applicable at aged care and health care facilities. Some of our clients may retain mask wearing requirements and we will respect their specific instructions.
  • If you are not feeling well and intend on visiting our office, please let us know and remain at home. If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, get tested or contact your doctor or Healthline on 0800 358 5453. More information can be found here.

Our Current Employees

If you are a current Absolute IT employee, your consultant will continue to keep in touch and we will update you with any relevant information via text/email and/or a phone call.

Vaccination

All Government vaccine mandates ended on 26 September 2022. Some employers may still require workers to be vaccinated due to health and safety. High rates of vaccination is New Zealand’s best tool in protecting people and minimising the spread of COVID-19, and central to keeping New Zealanders safe. We encourage you to keep your vaccinations up to date, including any boosters.

Staying Safe

Your best source of accurate and up-to-date information can be found on the government’s COVID-19 website.

If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, get tested or contact your doctor or Healthline on 0800 358 5453.

Looking after your mental wellbeing is important, and you can find information about support options here.

Finally, if you have any questions at all please get in touch – we welcome your call.
